The earth is 71% water, a large part of which are oceans. These oceans are currently at an all-time high in terms of pollution. Global economies keep on growing, which in return damages flora and fauna. Images of oil spills and huge patches of plastics are almost daily occurrences. Charities and foundations around the world are working hard to address this problem. We at honutoken do not have the knowledge or means to directly start projects to fix said problem but want to help by supporting foundations and charities that do. We strongly believe that the biggest opportunity to reach a new audience of people is blockchain technology.
